Sandra has worked within home assistance industry for over 25 years.
In 1994, Sandra was recruited by The AA as a call handler when they set up their first home assistance team based in Halesowen in the West Midlands.
During the 4 years at The AA Sandra became a Team Trainer, Team Manager and Deputy Call Centre Manager.
In 1998, The AA sold the home assistance business to Aon, Sandra decided to leave The AA & joined Aon as the Account/Data Manager looking after the house builder client base. Sandra helped recruit & train staff and set up the back office Account Management Team.
In 2005 Sandra was TUPE’D across to HomeServe & became the Client Relationship Manger for the house builder sector. Sandra’s main role initially was to support the integration of the house builder business from NPS Leeds into both the HomeServe Preston and Walsall sites. During the integration Sandra was involved in training the call centre staff and was also heavily involved with the data transfer when the business transferred across. The role also involved growing the client base and managing the day to day needs of the clients.
In 2010 the management of the housing association client base moved from Preston to Walsall and also fell under Sandra’s remit. Sandra was responsible for delivery of the service and engaged regularly with the HomeServe Claims Handling Management Team in Preston to make sure that they delivered on service.
In 2014, Sandra became part of the management team and Board of npa24:7. With responsibility for developing strategic partnerships, specifically in the house builder sector. Also managing day to day processes and holding regular reviews with clients.
