Our story
AA Home Assistance is launched
The AA launch AA Home Assistance, based out of Halesowen in the West Midlands (Nick Haycock was MD of this division and part of the AA management team that developed and launched this service).
AA sell business
The AA sell the business to Aon with Nick Haycock transferred and retained as MD.
HomeServe acquires business
Homeserve acquire the entire business and transfer the operation to Preston in Lancashire.
The business comes home
Nick Haycock and a team consisting of senior management from the AA, Aon and NPS days successfully acquire the House Builder and Housing Association business back from HomeServe. Nationwide Property Assistance (NPA) is formed. Offices are relocated back home to the West Midlands in Oldbury just a few miles from where it all started way back in 1994.
Venturing into new markets
NPA launch into insurance sector, signing up a couple of big names such as General Legal Protection and Collinson.
Moving back to Halesowen
NPA moves into a state-of-the-art office space in the centre of Halesowen, a stone’s throw from the original AA Home Assistance offices.
A new start for NPA
Following an acquisition, NPA will now form part of Davies Group’s existing Claims Solutions business in the UK, adding 24/7 home emergency assistance service to its existing range of end-to-end claims solutions.
